  1. Can anyone tell me how to get Dual Channel memory working on an Asus A7N8X-X, 2 sticks DDR pc2700, XP2400 cpu, FX5700. I have checked the Bios and cannot find the option to enable/disable this feature. The board has 3 slots for ram..1 and 2 are together and 3 is apart from them. I have tried all configurations with slots and with different sticks from my other Pc. I have read the manual start to finish but no help. Any help will be gratefully accepted.

DUAL CHANNEL AND TOTAL RAM in the ASUS 4P4800 SE

    HI GUYS,
I just would like to warn about a glitch with the mobo 4P4-800 SE ASUS.

When I upgraded my memory from 1 GIGA to 4 GIGA it only reads 3528 MB of RAM ... worryied I checked the mobo´s manual and found out it´s normal to read only 3528 MB of total RAM ... but it´s ok ... !!! :slurp:

What also confirms it, is the memory check showing it´s working in DUAL CHANNEL ... that is only true if all the 4 slots have the same type of memory.

    Best Regards,
    Ayrton
