DVD problem

I have a problem with my DVD-R drive. When i try to view the contents of a DVD this error message appears "E:/ is not accessible, incorrect function". This only happens with certain DVD'S and i believe it could be the brand of DVD'S im using, but i would like to know if anyone else has had problems similar to mine.

I've heard of this, but never seen it. I know some people have had problems with non branded DVD's, but I would think it would play fine in your comp DVD drive, especially a DVD-R drive. Have you tried them in another drive, possibly a friends? That would be my first suggestion.

if you are trying to view a movie what player are you using?
what format?
nero is about the best out there ,my opinion
