Hello there, first time I touched a PC was two years ago and I have learned alot by myself, but I cant for the life of me figure this one out.
I am presently using an ACER ASPIRE 1640 Laptop with a SLIMTYPE DVDRW SOSW-833S Disc Drive
I used Datawrite DVD-R Blanks for burning my home videos for ages without problems, scores of them. I used Nero at first and then SonyVegas Architect Studio to burn the video footage, but now, for some reason, both software applications inform me that the blank DVD-R's are either write protected or with no Free Space on the actual discs, according to the burning software I am using.
I have tried other brands, JVC DVD-R and RiDisc DVD-R's
When I look at the properties of the discs via MY COMPUTER, there is no free disc space, or is this normal?
This is my first posted thread and I am slightly nervous, and embarassed, the solution is probably simple, but I need help.
