dvd+r vs  dvd-r

  1. what is the difference between dvd +r and -r, i know that -r is more compatibile with older drives and dvd players but is that just about the only difference?

    Yep, that's about it. I'd still pick -R over +R any day.

    so is there even a reason for +R ? like is it better quality or nething?

    Not that I know of. Though, +R fanboys will say otherwise. If one day -R disspears, I'll use +R. Or if it's cheaper. :)
