AMD Athlon, 512MB DDR, 2x40GB HD, XP Home
I have been having problems with dvd-rom drives in my pcu. I put in a DVD and it shows that a CD is in the drive but it says that it is 'not accessible' UNLESS I restart the computer with the DVD in the drive, then it is fine. I had this problem with an old Pioneer model, so I replaced it with a new Sony, and have the same problem. Also the same problem with a Zip100.
When I installed a new 160GB HD it won't boot without a 'physical memory dump' error. I don't know if any of these are related or not...any help would be great!
