    what would be the best program to convert a dvd movie (or mounted ISO) to .AVI or .MPEG format in winxp?

    I want a move file, whether it's .AVI, .MPEG, or .WMV from a dvd...

    the reason is, a 700mb .mpg is a lot better for space consumption than a 2.5gb iso..


    so, anybody?

    hold up...

    ok this program works for DVDs but not mounted .iso's, does anybody have another suggestion?

    Thank ya'll for your responses, I completed this process easily and painlessly, and created a perfect 599mb .avi using NERO Digital (Nero Recode) and FlaskMPEG , both of these programs are amazing btw...
