I recently built a new computer after firing it up I installed windows xp home from my recovery disc issued with my previous computer it doesn't have service pack two on it.
I contacted Microsoft and they validated and installed xp I then downloaded service pack two plus updates.
I tried to play Vietcong 2 the computer kept giving the error message when trying to use the E drive. E:is not a valid win 32 application.
I tried to uninstall vietcong2 nothing happened no response so I removed the files.
I have tried installing a fiffa football game that I know installs and works on another computer I get the same error message.
I have also got a message telling me the system DLL user 32,dll was relocated in memory
The application will not run properly.

Any help would be appreciated

Iv installed other stuff and they have been ok.
Both these games are DVD games don't know whether that has anything to do with it.
HELP?

Thanks for the info tried but no joy Im afraid still got the problem.
Up to now the cost of building this new computer has been a waste of money.
Should of stuck with the old one.
