No. Apparently you can link your titles from Steam to Origin without issue. I don't know about dlc though.

It will still be supported by steam and you will receive updates. DLC will be handled my MyCrysis. You just can't purchase it on steam anymore.

  3. Its really sad that people are picking Steam over the actual game. Games like Mass Effect 3 and BF3 which will have amazing gameplay, story(only ME3) and multiplayer (only BF3) are being sacrificed so you can stay loyal to steam.. someone already said that Origin doesn't even run in the background. You people are just doing this cause you hate EA. Blizzard isn't on Steam is it? Look at their sales. You people will get Origin and EA knows this because of their awesome exclusives.

  4. Who gives a s**t about this game? I looks worst than crysis warhead, bcuz of that stupid console community. If not consoles, we, PC gamers, would have waaaaaaaaaaaaay better graphics ingame with the latest hardware

Origin.. where have I heard that name before...

Was wondering if Origin might have a reason to take action against EA using their name but "In September 1992, Electronic Arts acquired the company.".
Wonder if I can download the Wing Commander from EA "Origin".
