Ei system 4410 laptop

Hi

I've a problem with the audio - or lack of - on my Ei 4410 laptop. Sound has never been brilliant but after a reinstall of XP it's now non-existant. Checked Multimedia Audio Controller in Device Manager shows it in an error state and drivers not installed. Unfortunately I've been inable to source the drivers for it. Can anyone help?

have been to the manufacture of the laptop? they should have all the drivers for the laptop to download.

Yes, first port of call. Found the site from this forum - apparently server is in Belgium but always 'not found'.

Tried generic drivers without success.
