How do you create an ERD if there's no Drive A??

Ideally I'd like it on a USB Memory stick but as there are 2 HD D: will do?

    We're still using win2k - it works !!

    Regards

    No, most techs do that.

I use a licenced ghost version to create an image, usually squeezing everything on one DVD (bootable too ! )

Other than mscrx post Ultimate boot CD. (A good idea to download)

I would recommend trying to get a floppy, even ghost uses the floppy as the boot image on the DVD (note: floppy drive not required on re-install)

I would also suggest a software to image the clients. this could be ghost but there are also free programs available.
it would be good to use a backup software to have all data backed up.
in case of crash you can restore the system from the image and the data from the last backup.
not sure if you need a floppy for all that but thats what the software will tell you in their faq. newer ones can handle this with bootable usb and dvd/cd...
