Enabling Fastwrites PLEASE!!!!!

  1. I have both a mobo and videocard that supports fastwrites, but my videocard manufacturer disabled them in the card's bios. I used to use registry entries in Win ME to override it and enable them and it worked, but now I have WINXP Pro and it doesn't have the same system folder under the Nvidia/Global/ keys that I would enter it in. Can somebody tell me how to for WinXP or maybe Win2000, since I believe they would work the same!

    Is performance on your 2K/XP system so bad that you absolutely want to enable it ?

    You can always get an utility according to your Card brand :

    - nVIDIA : GTU or RivaTuner

    - ATI : Radeonator or Rage3D
