Encrypted files, but after reformat and reinstall, I can`t open them.

Hey guys,
i had win xp, and i encrypted some files, but yesterday i formated and installed a fresh copy of the same version of win xp, but now i can't open these files, and i can't decrypt them, i tried safe mode but it didn't work...
please help....

You can no longer access these files.

When you apply EFS to your files/ Folders your SID is associated with username and the files and folders you encrypted. When you reformatted the drive you lost association with those folders. You no longer have access to those folders/Files.

This is called a lesson learned the hard way
