Not only is it possible, it is very easy to do and does not cripple your system (save not being able to use local help, can still use online database).

I put that "1.5gig minimum" requirement to shame.

This is my ENTIRE C drive, including the pagefile and all user profiles:

And to make it even sweeter..

    The Windows directory only...

    580mb :D ! From a default that approaches 1.5 gig, I daresay it's an 'improvement"

Of course a lot of you probably have no use for that, but for the space challenged it is awesome :) Not to mention makes ghosting much easier.

If any care, just ask me and I'll put up the full list of what I did.

I'm still pushing it, seeing what I do and do not need... and boy is it fun. I think I've done restores about 16 times the past three days but its worth it.

I'd be pretty interested in knowing how you managed to pull that one off!

So if you'd care to post it, I'll get an interesting read, and we'll have it archived on TechSpot, if anyone else is interested :)

To contrast, my WINDOWS dir is 1.14 GB. But I have alot of temp files, etc. etc. on there.

    Nice job :grinthumb
