This is my first post. Here is what I have out of the Event Viewer. We were having and issue with Windows Vista on this Dell Inspiron 1501. I started with a completely fresh hard drive and a new install. To my surprise, it has started again. I believe it is a hardware issue. Here is my Event Viewer log file for the time that it happened. Any help is appreciated: Error code 1000007e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 eb3d52cf, parameter3 eb9d2ccc, parameter4 eb9d29c8. 0000: 53 79 73 74 65 6d 20 45 System E 0008: 72 72 6f 72 20 20 45 72 rror Er 0010: 72 6f 72 20 63 6f 64 65 ror code 0018: 20 31 30 30 30 30 30 37 1000007 0020: 65 20 20 50 61 72 61 6d e Param 0028: 65 74 65 72 73 20 63 30 eters c0 0030: 30 30 30 30 30 35 2c 20 000005, 0038: 65 62 33 64 35 32 63 66 eb3d52cf 0040: 2c 20 65 62 39 64 32 63 , eb9d2c 0048: 63 63 2c 20 65 62 39 64 cc, eb9d 0050: 32 39 63 38 29c8
Hi, Post three of four minidumps,as attachments. They`re in C:\\Windows\Minidump\* The numbers you posted, don`t help too much
Hello, Thanks for the fast reply. As soon as I get a hold of that laptop (it's not mine) I'll get those .dmp files and post them. Thanks again!
