Error from installing a programme

I got an error from installing any programme to my computer

It said "ComponentMoveData error 106"
and the pop-ip window told me to get online support
but i cant find any solutions to fix this error

can anyone one pls kindly help me to fix this error?
Im using winxp pro sp2

The error indicates that the installer cannot decompress a file. This can happen if the CD-ROM is dirty or damaged, if hard disk space is insufficient, or if the installer conflicts with an application or device driver.

You could try copying the contents of your CD-ROM (or the essential folders) to your HD or a network drive/USB key. You will soon find out if there is dirt or damage on the CD, and if not, you can easily then install from your HD or network drive/USB key.
