    Error Message URGENT

    pls help i get the error message time and again (C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT.THIS SYSTEM FILE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR RUNNING MS-DOS AND MICROSOFT WINDOWS APPLICATIONS.CHOOSE CLOSE TO TERMINATE THE APPLICATION) and also i am not able to update my anti virus definations after this message has started comming.
