Ethernet cable problem

Hi,
Recently I factory reset my windows 8 meta box, but in the reset it also got rid of all my drives, so I went to the meta box website and got all the drivers again, but when I try to connect to my wireless internet, nothing pops up, so I press trouble shoot then it says that I need a Ethernet cable to connect to the internet, and it won't let me change to wireless.
P.S. The windows I am on is windows 8 pro build 9200

Thank you.

Typical conflict; Need to use Either wired OR wifi but not both.
Disable the wired nic and then try to get a wifi connection - - be sure to enable the slide switch (usually on laptops).

Sorry I'm not so great with computers can you tell me how to disable the wired nic, and on the meta box witch is have there is no side switch.

By the way, when I go to control panel-view network connections, all that comes up is Bluetooth network and Ethernet

Network adapter, expand by clicking on the [+]
If you see a yellow flag, then that one needs a driver
