    everytime i log on if i go into event viewer i get the following warning applications userenu id 1517 user nt authority/system could anyone tell me why this is happening and how i can fix it in novice terms thanks leo

    Basically what you have is a program or service that isn't releasing the Windows Registry on shutdown. You can possibly try and trace it back to something that you installed just before the first time it showed up in your event log.
