I have seen this on a few systems.
Just had to try and fix my parent's Win ME system.
Had to find the Kernel32.dll to fix it and possibly get the system back on its feet. Still have to put it back in the pc after running scans on the drive with it attached to my machine but hopefully this will have fixed it..

Where did I find the DLL file for download....

    I'll tell you : http://www.dll-downloads.com/

Very useful site with loads of DLLs for download for different Windows OSs.

    No, never :giddy:

A similar site for Linux would be useful too..

I don't even remember when an application refused to work because of another application or library in BeOS :blackeye:

I could have used this about a month ago. My inlaws comp died and was asking for that dll. I had to find someone running 98 and snag theirs to replace the corrupt one. it took forever.

driverguide.com is good for a lot of files as well, mostly drivers but occaisonally you'll find something else too. l:p drivers:all

I've used that site (dll downloads) in the past and it rocks. Yes, there's plenty of ME systems out there that need support and the more sites you have in your pocket, the better it works out.
