  1. i been looking at both of these motherboards and i want to know which one should i get

    For me the preferred choice is the ASUS every time.

    the only motherboard i have ever bought is the MSI ms-6390 im using now

    The eVGA one has had too many problems and the latest revision probably still has some (if not most) of them. So get the ASUS one instead.

    im going to be using a quad core too, the Q6600

    Im using the Asus board atm... It's pretty darn good, I recommend it.

    i really like the Asus board because of the copper cooling and the separate sound card

    that was only on the old boards (separate sound card). the new ones have on board sound just like all others.

    It does use the 680 northbridge and not the 650. I like ASUS too.

    It wouldn't make any performance difference at all even if it was the 650i northbridge. So you're still good. :)

    No man you wrong i Have ASUS P4S533-MX, I bought this motherboard in 2002, and it has on board sound card.
