Howdy! Thanks for taking the time to look at my issue. I have been building computers for a while but this one has stumped me and I would love any feed back you could provide. Specs: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4590 @ 3.30 GHz ASRock H97M-ITX/ac LGA 1150 2 x 8GB DDR3 1600 Windows 7 64-bit Professional Example Error: Faulting application name: igfxCUIService.exe, version: 22.214.171.12493, time stamp: 0x5448df5f Faulting module name: igfxCUIService.exe, version: 126.96.36.19993, time stamp: 0x5448df5f Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x000000000000eda8 Faulting process id: 0x454 Faulting application start time: 0x01d0dd0a1416c404 Faulting application path: C:\Windows\system32\igfxCUIService.exe Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\igfxCUIService.exe Report Id: 53077f3d-48fd-11e5-af7b-4cbb58b5c356 This issues only seems to present it self in 64 bit applications. Strangely though, plenty of 64 bit applications run without fault. Steps have taken to resolve the issue: Flashed the BIOS to versions 1.7 and 1.8 Validated the RAM speed to be 1600 Removed the video card and used the on board chipset Replaced the RAM with a 3rd, known to be good, stick Ran "sfc /scannow" with no errors. Ran a memory diagnostic with no errors. Ensured all drivers are up to date (chipset, video, etc) Ran Intel Diagnostic Tool with no errors From what I can tell, I have narrowed down the issue to: - a bad driver that I still haven't resolved - a bad Windows installation (unlikely considering some 64-bit apps work) - a bad motherboard I have fired off an email to ASRock asking for any additional help they could provide but no response yet.
