External Hard Drive Question

    I just bought a WD My Book Premium external hard drive and i have a question. The hard drive is currently in FAT32 format, does it have to be in NTFS in order for me to use it and how do get it into that format?

    I bought a external hard drive and I have 2 computers and one is windowsME
    which is Fat32 and a Laptop that has WindowsXP that is NTFS and I can copy
    back in forth with any file, unless you wish to run an Operating System then it
    matters, if you wish to do that write me back and I can get you the help you
    are looking for!
