Facebook will not load in any browser

Hi,
I was just at one of your help pages, and saw the problem has not yet been solved. (https://www.techspot.com/community/topics/facebook-wont-load-but-other-sites-work-just-fine.181849/

My facebook will not load on Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox.. BUT however, I can get on Facebook using my iPad, and Phone Facebook App...

I tried every fix on the above page, nothing has worked. I am running Windows 7, 32 bit. I have disabled my Firewall, virus, and Malware checked, cleaned cache, and cookies, uninstalled, and reinstalled both Firefox and Chrome, disabled all ad-ons, and Extensions. Also I can not get on Facebook using any browser on 1 other Computer that I have, or my iPad, or any of my phone browsers.

I opened my Command Prompt and Pinged FaceBook.. Text uploaded below.

I noticed this problem looks to be from a few years back, (2012) according to your (Facebook won't load, but other sites work just fine) help page above.. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this problem? If there is any other information you guys need please let me know..

Thanks...

P.S. also I am posting a Screen Shot of what I am seeing when I try to load Facebook.. It doesn't matter what I push on this page Facebook will not open..

Thanks again!

Also if I may add: I copied the IP address from my Command Prompt (Ping Facebook text I uploaded above) that details where FB IP is coming from, {It says Dublin Ireland}. (and I do realize Facebook's international headquarters is Dublin} Then I copied this: edge-star-mini-shv-01-lga3.facebook.com (which is on the page of the IP address) into Google, and it redirects to Facebook, and still does not load. I don't even know if this is reverent to anything that I have posted above... But I am still at a loss with not being able to load FB at all on any browser.. Just my iPad and phone Facebook Apps..

I should have specified that I do have 2 WiFi connection boxes.. But I am only connected to one of the WiFi boxes with this PC. The other WiFi box is connected to another computer, that still will not connect to Facebook.. Or maybe I am not understanding what you are trying to explain.. Here is a Screen Shot of my WiFI connection, it shows I am only connected to one of WiFi boxes... Please explain if I am not understanding..

Thank you so much for your help. :)

EDIT.... OHHH P.S.. My Phone and iPad are also connected to this WiFi.

I have a clean configuration now, by removing everything that was needed in my ipconfig and I still am not able to get on FB. Here is my new ipconfig.
Do you see anything wrong now.. Or do you have any other ideas?

Another thing I would like to point out is: I have noticed when I try to get on FB using google, (which is how I have always gotten on FB the
Facebook - Log In or Sign Up

on Google, BUT when click on the above page the URL changes to https://web.facebook.com/?_rdr

I may be wrong but, I don't remember the (?_rdr) being on the URL to facebook before this mess started happening 3 days ago..

Thanks so much for any heal you can provide.
Linda..

Can't help with whatever FB does with URLS.

forget phone & iPad devices; we're working on ONE PC where you have been running IPCONFIG.
The last one is correct for WiFi but thought you wanted the wired LAN to work.
  1. turn of the Wifi (on a laptop it's an Fkey or a slide switch)
  2. wire a connection from the router to the PC
  3. watch the system tray icon left of the speaker to become normal
  4. rerun IPCONFIG /ALL
WiFi should not show up and the Local Lan should

I only have WiFI... Nothing else.. I have 2 Wifi boxes. I have been connected for well over a year with the same Wifi box, to the same PC... . I am connected to the Internet using a Desk Top Computer to one of the WiFi boxes (which I am using to type this note to you).. The other Wifi Box is connected to another Desktop Computer, for the same amount of time.

Both Computers (which are using two different WiFi connections, and both will not load my facebook page at all.. ..

I am sending you the latest ipconfig as you ask! :)

Well it seems it's back to square one, (The Local Area Connection) was already unplugged... Sending you a Screen shot.

I am beginning to think this mess has something to do my Digicel Internet Provider. I am going to give them a call, and see what they think, I'll post back in a bit to let you know their input.. ..

Thank you for all your help..

@@@@@Jobeard@@@@@ ;) (SOLVED) (SOLVED) (SOLVED) (SOLVED)

I gave my Digicel Internet Provider, a call yesterday, and explained the problem, and also sent them a text. They said they had received a few other calls about the same problem, and were working on the fix. I would have thought they would have sent out a phone text to let everyone know there was a problem with some of us not being able to connect to FB, since they send out some sort of a annoying text everyday anyway. So now I must have the cleanest running PC in the Cayman Islands.. LOL

So it turns out all this mess was on my Digicel Internet providers end. And now FB is back up and running this morning... So if anyone else has this problem, (LIKE what I have posted and uploaded as text and pictures) then sugest to them to call their Internet Provider first, as this is a real problem on their end, and not related to their PC...

I do thank you Jobeard so much, for your time well spent on trying to figure all this mess out... If I every need anyone's help ever again, I know where to come...... (y)

Thanks again.

Linda
