Fail to Flash my Gateway M460 Bios ! Plz Help

I try to update my Gateway M460 from 6.007 to 6.005 then it' won't start no more . Please let me know does anyway I can fix the problem ?

Reset the BIOS, if that doesn't work then put the BIOS flash floppy in the drive and start it up with the left shift key down and it may be able to reflash it, assuming it has that feature built in.

there's no floppy driver on the laptop. Anyway, I try to hold L-shift but i didnt work either. The lights are on but nothing show up on the screen .

Buy an external floppy and see Tarkus' post.

edit: would an external even work? I just realized i've never used an external anything on a failed system
