Fallout 4 update brings a host of new features to the game, including one just for Nvidia users

Let's recap -
You come out of the gate with the inane drivle of "thousands of bugs" and "unplayable alpha" but make sure to praise the witcher...

Then you support your claims with how many thousands of hours you spend (I should should clarify as waste) playing and supporting the community of Bethesda games which are so buggy as to be unplayable but are sure to distinguish that you do not work for Bethesda but instead choose to do this in your free time.

Compound this with the fact that FO4 is about 3 months old and you've spent more than half of year of work not getting paid playing a terrible game in your free time....

I'm not sure where you're going with this other than spewing the same trite bs as most people who think it's edgy to hate on popular, fun games like FO4 and skyrim. By all means keep wasting your life buying, playing, and supporting them.

Congrats, you just complete the coup d'etat of despicable things you can say. I say these things because I am a big fan of the games and I know them better than most. And what have you done? You sit on your self embellished pedestal, lording over all of the internet? No, you add nothing here but insults and vulgarity.

So where is the patch download link? Such articles make me mad - look there is something great out there... go find it yourself.

Lol, you are such a pathetic person that you took the time to create multiple accounts. Nice try but you fail at trolling.

Say what??? I do not have the need to create alternative accounts to validate myself.

You come in here strolling like you own every experience out there and you are awesome because you have spent hundreds of hours on a game you don't even like and find bugged as hell but you develop on... you are soooo freaking l33t it spreads on this thread.

Nothing I said was dispicable, vulgar or untrue. If you cannot handle the apt criticism of your differing opinions please keep your disparaging comments about the state of a game to yourself.

Are there plenty of issues still to be fixed? Absolutely and this patch was a good start. But many more millions of people played and enjoyed FO4 without major issue than the highly vocal commentors who claim wildly the game is in some unplayable state.

I've probably visited 70% of the locations and I'm gathering quests, going directly to marked quest spots and walking between locations I haven't visited yet... just over 100 hours so far. The only thing I can think of is that I check every nook and corner cause I'm an OCD looter.

same here- I check and grab EVERYTHING

Annoying bugs like everything goes green and blurry round the edges are very annoying - I have to find a previous save and remember not to use night vision scopes for a while. Frequent CTDs that have reduced since I installed a mod that reduced the size of textures (I think the mod is Fallout Optimisation). And why won't those damn fences just fit? So I stopped building walls around my settlements.
But there are now so many good mods like better/longer storms, faster animations for getting in/out of power armour, improved dialogue interface, remove helmets, add that railroad armour thing to any clothing, more variety of settlers, invisible armour...
I've played through a lot of it twice. Just uninstalled it yesterday to make room for XCOM 2 :)

First off, I know what's it's like to work on Bethesda games.
But you don't know how much work they put into it. And based on all your posts here, I get the impression that you're just bitter because you feel the weight of the gaming world on your shoulders as a modder. Good for you, you fix their errors and make their games a little different. That doesn't change the fact that the game in its released form is plenty of fun. Your enjoyment (or lack thereof) is not the standard, and getting angry at others for disagreeing is foolish.

P.S. I realize this is a long time coming, but I don't frequent this site so I didn't see your response until today. I felt it merited a reply.

I'm well aware of the amount of work that goes into. I've followed their "how to make a skyrim level" that replicates an existing skyrim map years ago. I've made 12 dungeon and while that nothing compared to the total in the game it gives me a good idea of what the full game took to make.

I was pointing out critique points of the game and I've more experience playing the game than anyone here. If you aren't taking my points seriously that's up to you but don't act like the game doesn't have issues. The argument was never whether or not the game was fun nor is "That doesn't change the fact that the game in its released form is plenty of fun." this a fact. That's obviously an opinion.

Are you going to go and complain to all the other reviewers that echo the same sentiments that I have? Is Fallout 4 fun? Yes but it's buggy, full of glitches, and doesn't advance the series in any meaningful way. It's essentially fallout 3 with a few mods as the weapon customization system and grenade hotkey are directly lifted from mods.

Now I'd like to hear an in depth explanation of your opinion because right now your just waving around a gun running blanks.

First, I would like to point out that there is no reason for me to validate my opinion because it is mine. I don't expect you to validate yours, though you seem to think you have to. And in the process you come across as elitist and kind of a jerk. I'm sure I come across as a jerk too, but at least I understand that by the fact I am not in the room with the team debugging, there is literally no way for me to know how much work is being put into the process. You can't see that and insist that since you are King Badass of Mod Mountain, you are better qualified to decide if Bethesda did a good job. If you really think that, you're clearly the one "waving around a gun running blanks."

Kibaruk, in a post above, summarized it quite nicely: "You come in here strolling like you own every experience out there and you are awesome because you have spent hundreds of hours on a game you don't even like and find bugged as hell but you develop on... you are soooo freaking l33t it spreads on this thread."

Your experience is no one else's and time played doesn't change that fact, so stop trying to push your experience on others. I enjoy FO4, and I have not had any major issues with it, but I do see it is flawed. Guess what: that is because it was made by flawed humans! All games have flaws; if you let the flaws define the game, you have no one to blame for how you see it but yourself.

So essentially, you refuse to explain your own opinion. If you can't even do that why should I sit here and listen to you to jabber on? You cannot synthesize a post that's even relevant to the topic and instead focus on finding flaws in my posts.

"All games have flaws; if you let the flaws define the game, you have no one to blame for how you see it but yourself"

Is this supposed to be some explanation pertaining to the games flaws? Avoiding the subject with worthless general statements won't net you anything.

No, I'm not the arrogant one here. It's people like you with no experience who stroll in here and then cannot even defend their own point and instead try to deflect the issue. How about you try to rebut one of my points. I guarantee I can shoot down anything you come up with, if you can even at all. Otherwise I'm not interested in another off topic post.

Fine, you want my opinion explained? I have fun with FO4 because I find it fun. The game as a whole is fun. There doesn't need to be any reason beyond that. And almost everything you have said in response to people has shown a very high amount of arrogance. Are you so unaware of what arrogance is that you can't see that? You keep talking about how you have more experience so you're better, or you mod so you're better, or you explain your opinions so you're better. All of these things are the very definition of arrogance. Just stop. You're not right, only different.

That's not an explanation, that's still a general statement. What specifically did you like? The Art style? The dungeons? The weapon customization system?

I'll hold anyone's opinion in higher regard, if they could state it. Your in a discussion form and making some bold claims. If you cannot delineate the specifics of your opinion then you just need to stop because that isn't discussion.

Something bigger to think about, how could you possibly discredit my opinion if you don't even have points against it? Or even a formulated opinion of your own? Sure, you like it but you cannot explain why.

You call me arrogant yet you have the gull to come here and wax about my problems without even having a defense. Even a bad troll would at least be able to make up some reasons why they like the game.

Ugh what a tool you are. Yes, I enjoy the art style. And the dungeons. And the weapon mod system. And the settlements. And the storylines. And the game in its entirety, despite the fact that there are minor elements that I enjoy a bit less. Why should I go into detail when a general claim includes all the details? And why does it even matter? You gripe about details, fine. You can't then take those opinions about things you don't like as evidence that you know better. I am not trying to discredit your opinion. I am trying to explain that taking your opinion and applying it as the absolute only thing that could be considered since you think you are somehow better is ridiculous. You're acting like an elitist **** and you have the gall to think because you choose to go into detail it makes your opinion any more valid.

You make two assumptions in this post. First, a generalization does not include all the detail. People could very well like certain details in the weapon system whiles others might like something different about it. Second, that I think that my opinion is absolute. I don't and and it may seem that way here because no one has actually tired explaining themselves. Why would I take your "It's good" statement when my opinion is much more thought out? You don't even give me a good reason to pick yours.

Going into detail does make it more valid and at the very least shows you put time and effort into formulating it. According to you, scientific studies shouldn't bother going into further detail, they should all claim they cure cancer. They don't have to mention that it causes IBS and has a 90% chance to reciprocate. Keep on going but you still haven't even discussed the topic. You cannot even defend your own opinion because you haven't even formed a full one yet.

I won't waste any more of your time, Sir Awesome. I am clearly incapable of such amazing feats as you, since I shared my opinion and it was met with disdain. You are the only one that can ever be correct, and for that I bow down to your superiority.

You never shared your opinion. You stated "This game is good" and "arrogant" over and over without any explanation. It's not my fault you can't extrapolate, something you should have learned in english class.

The fact that I enjoy it is exactly my opinion. The fact that you act like -- and even state -- you are better over and over (which I already explained in greater detail) is evidence that you are arrogant. The fact that you equate opinions to scientific study implies you are out of your goddam mind. I repeat, I won't waste any more of your time Master.

You never explained anything in any detail. I had to list a few topics just to get you to name one of those. You never went further than that. Can you actually explain why equating opinions to scientific studies is crazy? Judging by your past posts I doubt it.
