  1. Hello: I have a Fantom 2tb external usb drive (MDC2000) made up of two 1tb drives in a radid 0 configuration. When they powerup which the blue light turns on but the drives will not spin. The drives when removed from the case will each spin using another external usb box. Any thoughts?

    "Any thoughts?"...
Yes the MDC2000's power supply has failed, blue lights or no blue lights

Hi Tmagic650: Thanks for the reply. Is there any way to check whether the power supply is bad?

You said that the drives spin up in another enclosure... Thus, there is good evidence that the original enclosure's power supply is faulty. I'm afraid that is all that needs to be done. Enjoy your new enclosure
