    Info taken from: http://theinquirer.net/?article=14635

These 2.5" drives are meant as a drop-in replacement for SCSI and ATA drives. Sustained transfer rates are supposedly 40mb/sec with 100mb/sec bursts.

The disks are solid state, meaning there are no mechanical parts (I've been waiting for this for a long time!).

Unfortunately, the price for these is about $350/GB :O

$350/GB ? That would run me around $126,000 to replace my current drives in my two main machines. I believe I might have to pass on these for now, though I've been waiting on this for quite a while myself.

    That's insane...must...wait....for prices...to drop...
