fast Audio playback

the audio from my sound card is very fast. Its a p4 intel celerom, i tried reinstalling the drivers but it still gave the same thing . i dont know what can be responsible for this

what do you mean "fast"? like those chipmunks voices type of things? maybe you have fast playback/pitch shift enabled on your media player.. so what is your media player?
