I was in the process of recovering my friend's HD when I accidently bumped the drive, turning it off. Now some of the files that were in the process of being copied are fragmented and will not delete. The message I get when I try deleting them in Windows is:
"Cannot delete _______: access is denied.
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected
and that the file is not currently in use."
When I right-click the files the only options I get are Open and Send To>. I even tried deleting the files through Killbox, no luck. I tried running Disk Defragmentor and it said there were "...incosistencies detected in the filesystem." Then I ran CHKDSK as the Defragmentor told me to do. Defrag still didn't work afterwards.
Any ideas?
