Finding out my Sound Driver

By xzero1134
Feb 24, 2008
  1. I have no sound card and I'm not sure what my motherboard make is. I've used dxdiag and I've used a program called "Belarc Advisor" but neither of these scans show what my sound driver is. it's completely empty in dxdiag. I just formated my computer and lost sound, and I don't have the original installation cd. I know how to install drivers and all that but for some reason I'm having trouble finding out what my driver actually IS. Any help is greatly appreicated.
