  1. I have two tabs that I can close individually. Then I go out of Firefox. When I come back in the two tabs are back. I can ad new tabs and close them but the problem two will not stay closed. Any solutions? Version 2.09

The two tabs show up again when you relaunch Firefox ? Could it be you've added two URLs as your startup page ?

    You were right!

I was loading more than one URL at every startup. Thank You very much.

FYI, I have my homepage set to open with 6 tabs. These are sites I frequently visit throughout the day. You can set up a homepage anyway you want, with or without tabs. Set it like you want, then go to Tools> Options> Main> Use Current.

You can leave tabs set if you want- you don't have to close them each time.
