  1. I can watch videos with IE, but not with FF.
Instead, a white window appears, saying that I must
    install a plugin manually.
I get redirected to Microsoft´s homepage (windows media player).

Quicktime and Win player are already installed.
And Im using the Combined Community Codec Pack.

Check that you have "npdsplay.dll" on your pc, it should be under "program files/windows media player". If you dont have it, then reinstall WMP to the latest version (WMP11 Beta).

    I coulnd´t find npdsplay.dll.
I reinstalled wmp 11, and still no file with that name.

but I googled it, and downloaded it, and put manually in the wmp
folder, and now it´s working! ^^

    hmmm...

    Thanks btw ;)
