    My debut!

I have worked in the computer industry for several years programming and
operating large main-frame IBM computers. I am a fairly recent newcomer
to micro computers (desktops). I find them very challenging, despite my prior
career experience. I need help once in awhile, and have found Dell user
    services very lacking!
I presently am using a Dell Dimension T600r desktop. I want to upgrade this
machine by replacing the MoBo with a Dell B Series MoBo and a 866MHz CPU.
Looking forward to working with all you Tech Forum experts!

    Newbie

Hello, I am new here. Got a new HP laptop with Win 7 64 bit (whatever that is) on it. Don't think I like Win 7 with Windows Live Mail among other things. So I guess I'm here to learn from others. Looks like I'm stuck with it for now.

I was directed to this site by a friend. Thank you

    Hi, I'm new to TechSpot

Hi, I'm new to TechSpot, thought I have looked it over a few times, its one of those things you keep meaning to join but never do so I finally bit the bullet.

I have worked in the IT industry for a number of years now concentrating on Server and Cisco support, I used to be fairly self sufficeint on PC matters butr the OS & software is moving at a pace that makes it difficult for me to keep up due to other commitments so I may need help from time to time but, if I can help any body on any other issues I will be only too willing.
