hi, im 13 and im thinking of building my first computer, i want it to be P4, and ill start out with a x300 but will upgrade to a 6600GT or 6800GT or 6800 ULTRA, and i cnt go over $900 but if its a little over 40bucks then its ok, this is including the OS, i want kingstion 1GB RAM and a 400-500 watt PSU, rember it needs to have room for upgrads.

P.s it needs to be one of the new P4 64-bit eddition

The new P4 64-bit is expensive. 900 bucks may be too little. BTW, there's little to no 64-bit apps for windows. There's a ton for Linux.

P4 64 bit aren't all that pricey you can buy a 3.0ghz for about $237 us.

But it adds up when you have to get a special mobo for it.

    special mobo????????

Well you have to get a 64bit mobo instead of a regular one for amd XP or P4. They are a little more pricey since it is a new technology.

I think all the newer socket 775 mobos support the new 64 bit cpus(the 925/915 series mobos).

The older 478 socket mobos won't work, they don't have the same socket.
