Fix to blue screening.

  1. It seems more then half the threads started in here are about windows xp, being the "disasterpiece" it is, blue screening. I've had it happen several times to my computer. From my experience you have two fixes:
    1. Reformatting
    2.Running sfc in command prompt

So.... im guessing you wanna use option 2.
Open command prompt and type "sfc /scanonce", hit enter.
    Now hit y and enter.
    Reboot.
It will ask for your windows cd, so put it in.
Click ok and let it reinstall your dlls.

If this works for everyone, moderators sticky this, if it doesnt delete it.

    Hi Biz,

I've resolved a lot of blue screen problem. Re-install and SFC only resolves less than 20% of the blue screen problem. Most of the blue screen is related to faulty ram.

BiZ, you are dancing on very thin ice here, with your pirated XP.
Don't expect ANY help here, if you get into trouble!
