  1. Hi all! I have a problem with my memory stick. I bought it in USA and it worked OK. Now I am for the Holydays at Europe and tried to get some information from it on a computer here and a massage" USB device not recognized" popped up. Do you have any idea what is going on. I appreciate any help!!!!

I'm not sure of what type of message you'd get, but is it possible that you dont have USB 2.0 on your computer? Maybe you have the older USB 1.1 version, or your memory stick could have been damaged.

All USB 2.0 devices are backwards compatible. It doesn't matter what you plug to which port.

What operating system are you using? Windows 9x needs special drivers to work with USB mass storage.

USB drives do not have region locks.

your drivers for you stick may not be loaded on your new computer. Some computers auto-detect with some USB drives, others don't.
