Floppy disk drive (making a bootdisk)

I had a floppy drive laying around and I added it to the pc the drive has no disk and it's asking me to reformat the disk 0_o With or without the disk is the same thing...

Like the title says I am making a boot disk for w2k pro

floppies go bad. junk it.
clean or replace your drive too.

Windows version Pleeeeeeeeeeeze.

W9x and me need a boot floppy.(System Disk)
Formating A: in My Computer has this option.
But it seems you think you need one in there at all time.Is that right ?
Boot disks are only for installing W9x and me.
Always keep all drives empty,unless your useing the disk thats in it.
