Floppy disk trouble

hello gentlemen
floppy disk trouble -green light always on- when you put in ploppy disk into drive
and try to access it from my computer it gives a message awsking me to please put a disc in drive.I t is not the floppy disk as i havr tried others, same thing. It does not seem to see the disk.

Check that the floppy cable is connected the right way round. If it is, try another floppy cable.

Power Lead

Try turning the power connector around on the floppy drive, I've seen some floppy drive's lights stay on constant when the power lead is reversed. Hope this helps.

I forgot to mention. When the floppy drive light is constantly on, simply unplugging the floppy cable at the floppy drive end and reversing the cable, may well solve the problem.

turned the wiring around and hey presto. We have everything working thanks again
