Floppy drive inaccesible after windows reinstall

Hello

My pc had to go and be repaired last week due to a faulty memory stick, and i had to windows reinstalled, but now my floppy disk drive is not showing up in My computer,,, Any suggestions

Open the case and see if the ribbon is connected to the FD from the FD Controller onboard. Check to see if the power is connected to the FDD. If that looks good, check to see if the FD is showing up in the BIOS? Might be disabled?

You probably shouldn't ever take your computer to the shop again if they reinstalled Windows because of bad RAM.

going to a PC repair shop is like having open heart surgery --
you better ask for references, do your own homework, and seek a second opinion.

have them tell you WHAT THEIR solution is and REQUIRE that they get your
authorization to proceed !!!!
