HI,

My OS is windows XP in my laptop toshiba, Last month i am looking for some file in my flash drive, then I accidentally open this folder exe. After I open this folder exe it is a big disaster my computer keeps shutting down after booting. before that it show system will shutdown. I cannot do restore point because the shutdown timer is too fast. i went also to safe mode the same thing happen.

What is your suggestion to fix this problem. I have an important file i don't want my hardisk tobe format.

Unplug the internal HardDrive
Back it up in another working Windows computer (as a secondary drive)

When there's user data at stake, that's the best advice

Once all's backed up

You can re-install Windows Xp fresh (removing the partition during setup)

How does that sound?

Actually you can even use a Linux BootCD (like uBuntu) if you don't have a secondary computer available. And backup to USB flash drive if you like
