Folder File Display- How to set it to DETAILS

Hey.

Is there a way to set all the folders you could ever be able to access on your pc via Windows XP (ie. all of them) to display all the files in them via the "Details" display option.

I hate folders being randomly assigned either Filmstrip or icons or thumbnails or list. Can't you just set them all to stick to one of them?

Open a folder and set it to detail view

Tools->Folder Options:
General->Use Windows classic folders
View->Apply to All Folders

Anyone know how to do this with Windows Vista now? The Folder options don't seem to work at all similarly.
