Followed 8 step Viruses/Spyware/Malware Preliminary Removal

  1. Hi, I recently had a virus when Spyware Guard 2008 was downloaded on my PC. I have AVG - 8.0.176 free version which kept detecting a win32/heur virus and was unable to remove the spyware and virus. I used the 8 step Viruses/Spyware/Malware Preliminary Removal.

When i ran AVG Scan the following was identified:-

    1. c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\microsoft internet explorer\dlls\modulie.dll - Trojan horse downloader.zlo.AILGJ found

    2. c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\microsoft internet explorer\dlls\zlihimuwnff.dll - Win32\heur virus found

    3.c:\program files\spywareguard 2008\spywareguard.exe - Win32\heur virus found

    4 c:\windows\system32\winscenter.exe - trojan horse generic 12.AMLJ found.

After following the 8 steps it looks like spyguard 2008 has been removed however i'm not very technical so i wondering if someone could take a look at the logs to see if the viruses have definately been removed.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
