I'm wondering what the max number of fonts WinXP will recognize is if there is one? I'm assuming there is since there are utilities out there that suggests such. I'd also like to know how to be able to use more of my fonts in other apps like Photoshop. I have several hundred fonts and some programs will only allow me to use a portion of these.

After having a wee quick lookie, I can't find an exact answer to your question.

I did find out that there was a limit of around 1000 true type fonts in Win9x type operating systems such as Windows 95/98/Me.

I can't, as yet, seem to find any such similar limit for Windows NT type operating systems such as Windows NT 4, Windows 2000 or XP. Perhaps, although I am only guessing here, there is no theoretical limit in these operating systems, although in practical terms maybe there is but probably many times greater than win9x.

I knew about the limit in win 9x, thanks none the less. How about a work around for apps which have a limit? Such as Photoshop which doesn't display all my fonts
