I need to get hold of formatting disks for Windows XP Media Centre so does anyone know these can be downloaded???

would it be possible to just use the windows xp boot disk as i cant find the boot disks for media center newer??

Why is it that you need bootdisks ? The Windows install CD is most likely a bootable CD, use that instead.

when formatting a pc you cant using the winodws disc because because it removes everything including the drivers for the cd-rom. yet the floppy boot disks set the stage for you to install windows again. and the reason i need to format is because my friends computer has a piece of spyware hat wont let him do anything like connect to the internet, start various programs etc.

You can always have a lookt at BootDisk & see if you can find that set of bootdisks.
