formatting a hard drive from a RAID 0 array

  1. This one hard drive was from a RAID 0 setup using 3 hard drives. I pulled it out beacsue I wanted it to be installed in my other system.

How do I format it? Do I just simply format like regular? Will any problems arise because the data is stripped?

    I never done this before.

once removed from raid config it is seen as a single drive
when in doubt do a wipe write 0's or 1's to drive
    takes time but worth it
use bootable disc is the best approach
acronis is your best bet for error free format
