FPS Problems

Ok I posted this in the wrong thread before. Basiclly I am trying to figure why with my computer specs i am having low FPS in some parts of WoW and can't pass 60 in others.

Computer Specs:
Pentium D 2.80GHz, 2.80GHz
4Gb of RAM (1Gb x 4 sticks) (atm 3Gb b/c someone said try pulling out a GiG)
650Watt PSU
300Gb Hard Drive
GeForce 8800GTS 640mb OC'd
Windows XP SP2

Now I need any advice on what to try or what may be wrong.

Did you get better scores before you made some sort of change? Is your Pentium D a 8xx or 9xx series? I would put in your 4th stick of ram. That's not the answer to your problem, but it won't slow you down. Off hand I would think that your CPU is the weakest link that I can see. A lot of it has to do with your board and it's settings.

Yea i've been told it's probably the CPU. I am already looking at a Quad Core and New Mobo, case, ram, etc... It's gonna be a fun 2 weeks of work to get it

It's the Pentium D that's the problem.
