hi, my mate has blown his pc up, i aint really sure how but he said he was trying to get his RAM FSB to the right speed because it wasnt running ad DDR400 but 333 and they are 2x512mb of PC3200, he said when he rebooted nothing worked the pc tries to boot up then an alarm sounds he said he has tryed resetting the CMOS to no avail and hes tryed a different power supply and taken the battery out of the motherboard, what else could it be maybe his RAm seeing as tho he overclocked that

I guess I have to look in my crystal ball.....

if you don't know, I don't either...

but if a post beep went off, something ain't right!

the beeps suggest memory configuration error. the error is stil in thebios evvent log, you need to clear the bios event log reset the bios from there. linstall only one memory first and then restart the syste,m . The fsb can not be changed even if u try , it will remain at 333 , i depends on the mobo fsb

FSB can't be changed as far as I know. The RAM will run but at the lower speed. Shouldn't cause problems but its better to buy sticks that are the same speed as that supported by ur motherboard.
