Frequent system crash

Hi all,

I've got myself a new pc but now all the excitement is fizzed out because this thing keeps crashing on me very too often. This happens randomly and does it with a sound.. like something stuck somewhere.

System config:

Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2
Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2HP mobo
AMD Phenom(tm) 9650 Quad-Core Processor
BIOs - Award Software International, Inc., F2

The eventvwr shows the Event ID as 1003 and the Category as 102.
Error code 1000000a, parameter1 00000017, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 80527914.

What is the sound when it crashes? Does it beep-beep or beeeep? Also did you installed all drivers?

Drivers are installed

Yes, i've installed all the drivers from the cd that comes with the mobo..

The sound is something like this GRRR..GRRR.. GRRR. GRRRR (high frequency).. the screen freezes and the system restarts.

It sometimes also says Main BIOS checksum error
Retrieving bios....

Not sure if these 2 issues are related.........
