You don't say but is this a nuisance (you click ok and you then have access to your external drive).
Or are you prevented access?

But if you do have access after clicking ok do the below.
First empty Recycle Bin.
That actually should do it, but continue to make sure
Drag mouse highlight the text between the lines but not the lines then rt click and copy

Hit enter or click ok.
Black command window opens
Now rt click inside the command window and click paste, if window does not close hit enter..
There is now a Cleaup.txt Icon on tour Desktop open it and paste the contents back here then you may delete the Cleanup Icon.
Disconnect from external drive wait 30 seconds and reconnect.
