I would like to get all important files from my old 1995 Winbook FX laptop to a Dell Inspiron 1150 laptop. The Winbook diskette driver doesn't work anymore and therefore I cannot save my work on diskettes; at that time, the Winbook CD-Rom could not write/save files on CDs yet; and the laptop has all parallel ports.
If I get an HDD Pocket, will I be able to trasnfer my files??? What kind should I buy? In a store or per Internet???
Thanks in advance for all good suggestions.

Find someone with a normal PC, that has a CD-writer.
Then buy a 2.5"-3.5" adapter, take the harddisk out of the old laptop, insert in that PC, retrieve the files and burn them onto a CD.
